


Using the original announcement letter, we were able to withdraw certain paragraphs, and insert statements relevant to voters in the Hands Pike precinct.
The letter to the Hands Pike neighborhood was meant to establish, in the minds of that public, the thought that Bernie is familiar with the area (the map indicates this), and he has supported improvements near their neighborhood. The letter also criticizes the current city commission for ignoring the residents near Hands Pike.
There was another important reason I decided to insert a map into the Hands Pike letter. That is, some people are stimulated with images, and others by words.
As in every correspondence, to keep people reading the letter, I deliberately broke sentences at the end of each page. Also, like every correspondence, the letter was personally addressed and had a handwritten signature.
